Description
Mini reinforced housing assembly with SC Field installable fast connector is a new design outdoor water-proof fiber optic cable assembly compatible with HW Mini-SC connector /adapter. It’s mainly used for FTTH outdoor installation. It’s small and easy to be installed with IP67 level. Mini-SC fast connector is an excellent solution with HW device and do not need terminated the connector in factory. It can be field assembled easily to save time and benefit the project.
For SC Field Installable Connectors:
Field Assembly Optical Connector (FAOC), also refer to as Field Installable Connector or Optical Fast Connector, is designed to enables easy and quick fiber termination on site with unique V-groove mechanical splice technology and double locking system, therefore providing a significant support for users in the construction of FTTH network.

- The width of Drop Cable Holder is 16mm, compliant with Fujikura brand fiber cleaver standard, so it can be compatible with almost all the fiber cleavers in market, including Sumitomo brand fiber cleaver standard.
- The default Fixed Cutting Length of Drop Cable Holder: Buffer Coating Length - 21mm, Bare Fiber Length after Cutting – 7.6mm, total fiber length without jacket is 28.6mm (Buffer fiber + Bare fiber), this is the most important part, if the length changes, the splicing result maybe fail. *
