Description
FBT Optical fiber coupler has bundles of optical fibers fused together. The input light is equally or not equally split into two parts at the fused region and output via ports.
Optical fiber couplers are most suitable for 1x2 or 2x2 splits since those with few splits are relatively simple to fabricate.
The single mode standard coupler (SSC) features low excess loss, high stability, and reliability. It is widely used for optical fiber communication systems and CATV systems.
